What teachers have said about this resource:

My Third Graders loved these! It’s a unique way to reinforce sequencing skills, and my kids absolutely adore task cards! It’s a nice way to differentiate and allow students to work at their own pace. Thank you! -Emily D.

These task cards provide so many different ways to practice sequencing. Making it a competition between groups seems to be a student favorite! -Nora R.

Sequencing is the first skill we teach in our Reading series. My students were given 5-6 cards a day (in a group) to complete and turn in on Friday. Since it was a group activity, most students received 100%. You will be satisfied with this purchase. -Pamela D.

Task Cards for my Franklin Covey Planner

Arithmetic Sequences Task Cards

Description

These task cards help students understand arithmetic sequences by finding common differences, creating equations, and finding terms within the sequence. I provide a variety of questions and answers to allow for deeper understanding of arithmetic sequences. For example, here are some problems you will see on the task cards:

“Identify the common difference.” or “Write the equation that represents the sequence.” or “Find the 8th term.”

Also included are tables that represent the sequence. For these, students will find the common difference and term 0 to create the equation.

So whether students are learning about Arithmetic Sequences, or students need a review, this product will help students build confidence in their mathematical abilities.

These Arithmetic Sequences Task Cards are a print and digital resource.

The 8 task cards and “Helpful Hints” page can be printed. (See below for my best practice!) The Google Forms starts off with multiple choice questions and is followed by short answer questions. In fact, it is also self-grading! This means it provides immediate feedback for students and less work for you!

Why implement task cards over a worksheet?

Currently, I use task cards in my class almost every day! My favorite part about them is this: Once you have them, they are prepped and ready to go at a moment’s notice. I laminate them and keep them in Michael’s photo boxes. If we finish class with 5 minutes to spare, pull out a task card! Have students work on it individually or in pairs. They are versatile and ready for any occasion.

How to use Task Cards in the Classroom

Included in this resource:

With my own hands, I calmly touched him, but at those moments he was in a drooping state. She played with her fingers on it. It was the greatest pleasure at the moment when she put a member in her mouth and began to lick it with her tongue. I felt that he straightened even more and even inside there were some tremors.
