Advocacy Poster Campaign for the Homeless
Description
As Hungary today is facing a housing crisis this year, the Free School program entitled HOME examines the issue of housing poverty together with the target group of secondary school students. In the beginning of December 2014, we will launch a poster campaign made up of 30 posters designed by the students, raising awareness on prejudice against homelessness and exclusion of homeless people. When preparing for the campaign, students will collaborate with homeless activists from the "City is for All" group. In the process, participating students will become more sensitive and conscious regarding homelessness while participating homeless people will be more aware of how to control the discourse about them and gain hands-on experience in advocacy from an aesthetic approach. The posters will be displayed in public places. Beside the posters, we will create a giant banner that will be placed in a highly frequented place in the city. We are applying for the grant to cover the expenses of the campaign.Summary of project results
In the autumn of 2014 the joint programme of Krétakör Free School and Goethe Institute Budapest involving secondary school students focused on the issue of housing poverty in Hungary. Following several meetings with experts and stakeholders, the students designed and realized a public poster campaign in Budapest. Participating students and people struggeling with housing poverty volunteered to use their own faces to show how society marginalizes homeless people. The series counting approximately 80 posters gained widespread media coverage. The campaign was nominated for Highlights of Hungary creative projects 2014 and won 8th place based on the people's choice.Summary of bilateral results

diy poster ideasOtherwise, I can't get up. I answered the woman, pulling out a soldier's tunic from the breast feed, a pack of German eckstein cigarettes. Oh Kostya I'm so ashamed. I have never done that in my life.

Looking at Sasha's penis, which was lying, some strange pride in myself rushed over me. I looked at my watch, it was 2. 45 am. Sasha went into the bathroom to wash and began to dress. I asked him: - Will you stay until morning.
