Custom Tuning Package for Ecoboost 2.3L Mustang/RS (Cobb Accessport)

We provide tuning for stock or aftermarket turbochargers. Our tuning process provides a safe environment, this allows individuals with a factory or a larger aftermarket turbo to increase power reliably. Please fill out the Tuning request form after submitting your payment and a tuner will contact you with further details.

While we are remotely calibrating your vehicle you will be required to datalog multiple parameters using your accessport. This enables us to see how your car is reacting to each change as if were there tuning the car in person. Each vehicle/modification list will take a different amount of time to complete no two vehicles are the same.

Standard vs Lifetime Tuning 

What is a lifetime tuning package? Simply put the lifetime tuning option ensures you never have to pay for a another tune or retune for your cobb accessport again. No matter how many parts you change on your car you will continue to receive revisions free of charge. The only exception to this is tuning for the addition of an aux fuel kit.

With the Standard Tuning package you will get a custom tune, and revisions only for the modifications you currently have on the car. Any subsequent mods after the tuning process has started will result in a retune fee of $100. Upgraded turbochargers are not considered a retune and require the purchase of a new tuning package as we start from scratch with turbo upgrades. The lifetime tuning package covers turbo upgrades.

Our performance tuners for the latest 3.7L V6 Mustang make a world of difference for daily drivability. We were able to squeeze an additional 21 horsepower out of the car whole making huge increases in low-end torque!

Powerful Tunes & Parameters

2015 mustang 3.7 v6The 2015 and 2016 Mustang V6 have a ton of stock power (more than some of the older GTs had), but all that power made us wonder how much Ford still left on the table. With that in mind, we strapped a 2015 Mustang V6 to our dyno and started our dyno tuning process. We modified the spark settings, fuel settings, shifting and a lot more to grab as much power as possible on a stock car. As it turns out, there were substantial power gains available on the 3.7L power plant- our 93 Octane Performance Tune added 20 horsepower without any other mods installed!

When we finished on the dyno, we took the Mustang out on the street to test our tunes out. There was a noticeable performance increase, and the throttle felt snappier than stock. Transmission shifting was perfect, just the right mix of a firmer performance shift with a higher rev per gear.

With our R&D complete, we loaded the data into our Trinity and inTune i2 programmers for the Mustang and started to work out the user adjustable options. Our calibrations team set up the tuner so that users could adjust key settings on their Mustang like tire size, gear ratios, spark timing, fueling, idle RPM, and even intake/exhaust Cam controls!

Pre-loaded Performance Programs

The tune selections for the 2015-2016 Mustang V6 are based on the octane rating of the gas you use in the car. The higher the octane fuel, the better the performance gain you will get out of our tunes.

93 Octane Performance Tune+21 HP | +16 TQ

This tune gets the biggest power gains on a V6 Mustang, but requires the use of 93 octane premium fuel in the car. It’s the perfect performance upgrade for your Mustang!

91 Octane Performance Tune+19 HP | +14 TQ

While this tune makes slightly less horsepower than the 93 octane tune, it still has all of the same drivability enhancements and tuning options. This tune was mainly designed for users that only have 91 octane available to them in their area.

Mustang EcoBoost Stage 1 Tune

Delicious Tuning - Stage 1 reflash using California 91 Octane Fuel for your Ford Mustang EcoBoost adds increased torque across the board and smooths out the powerband and increases power under the curve. In order to use the Stage 1 tune you do not need to add any additional parts. You may (if you so choose) add a cat back exhaust system as this will not affect the Stage 1 tune, but will change the exhaust note to your liking. 

Our Stage 1 reflash smooths out the entire band, offers a linear power curve and improves the low end torque and response while maintaining a very powerful, consistent and reliable tune. We have developed maps for a wide selection of intakes and the numbers represented below are based on the AirAid Intake or the OEM intake system. We have found aftermarket intakes are not necessary for getting the performance you desire out of the vehicle, although we can cater to any intake system. Turnaround Time on Tunes
Due to the heavy demand for tunes all tunes ordered online, orders may take up to 3 business days to process, but this is not a gaurantee. This means a tune ordered on Friday may be delivered as late as midnight Wednesday the following week as Saturday and Sunday are considered non-business days.

All tunes are off the shelf, base tunes and are designed around specifically installed parts and equipment on your vehicle. Due to the variances in vehicles and/or performance parts we can guarantee any performance related aspects that may be assumed or expected by the owner of the vehicle. While these tunes are heavily tested on our in house vehicles and designed to work out of the box as a base tune for your vehicle and we do not offer any warranty on any tunes that are installed. If additional changes are requested we do offer updates, revisions, and/or tweaks to any and all tunes/ maps at standard service rates.

Dyno & Street Tested Power Gains

We made huge power on our Superflow Chassis Dyno, indicating the optimal tune for 93 octane. We optimized the factory timing and fueling maps through hundreds of dyno pulls to ensure peak performance- and the proof is in the numbers on the dyno sheet! While dyno graphs are great to show where our tunes make power (especially when the midrange is running 33 HP over stock), they don’t tell you what a car is going to do on the street. Our tunes enhance throttle response, clean up automatic shifting, and raise rev limiters in an effort to shave seconds off your quarter mile time. When we took the car off the dyno and onto the street, there was an immediate difference in the overall drivability. From low to mid-range RPM, power delivery was strong and smooth, along with a nice firm shift. The tune livened the car up in an instant!

It is your car– take control of your tune! While our tuning department slaved over the tunes for hours on end to ensure peak power, our performance programmers give you options to change tons of vehicle parameters to your specific needs. Our devices offer the ability to adjust tire size, gear size, spark/fuel settings, shifting, MAF Curves, and tons more.

Get a Custom Tune

While our tunes are great for a stock car with no mods, the DiabloSport inTune, and Trinity tuners for the 2015 Mustang 5.0 can hold virtually unlimited custom tunes! You can get a custom tune from your favorite online tuning shop, or even a local CMR Custom Tuning shop. Loading a custom tune to an inTune is as easy as dragging and dropping the file on a PC or Mac. Trinity users can use DiabloSport’s DS Downloader tuning software to save, and load multiple tunes at the same time. Give your 2015-2016 Mustang the gift of power!

Pre-Loaded Performance Programs

The tune selections for the 2015 Mustang depend on the type of gas you want to put in the tank. For best results, we always recommend running the highest-octane gas available, and running the tune associated with that octane rating (ex: 93 octane, 91 octane)

93/91 Octane Performance Tunes: + 15 HP & + 30 TQ

Designed for power, economy, and drivability, this tune requires users to run a minimum of 93 or 91 octane (respectively) in their gas tank to see the best power gains. Mid-range horsepower gains are 33HP over stock!

93/91 Octane JLT Cold Air Intake Tunes: + 28 HP & + 50 TQ

During tune development, we had a chance to get our hands on a JLT cold air intake- so we created a tune specifically to run with their kit on the Mustang. With the intake installed, our tunes made 28 HP and 50 TQ! Check out the dyno sheet to see the specific curve. Hint: we picked up 39 HP in the mid-range!
