Google Single Sign-On (SSO) allows you to sign in to your QuickBooks Online account using your Google credentials. With Google SSO, you only need to log in once and you can easily go between G Suite and QuickBooks Online.

Google sign-in is going away for the QuickBooks Online mobile app for iOS

We're updating the way you sign in to the QuickBooks Online mobile app. In the past, users could use their Google accounts to sign in on Android and iOS devices. Starting on March 30, 2020, you won't be able to sign in to the QuickBooks Online mobile app with Google account on your iPhone or iPad.

Note: This change only affects the iOS mobile app. You can still use your Google account to sign in to QuickBooks Online in a web browser or the QuickBooks mobile app.

Instead, use your Intuit Account user ID and password to sign in. We recommend you sign in to your Intuit Account and reset your password before March 30 so you can use it when you sign in next time.

If you don't remember your Intuit Account user ID or password, don't worry. Open a web browser and sign in to QuickBooks Online. You can still use your Google account to sign in. Then follow the steps to get your Intuit user ID and password.

Google SSO and QuickBooks

Google Single Sign-On enables users to access all their enterprise cloud applications by signing in one time for all services. To log in to QuickBooks Online using your Google credentials, select the Sign-in with Google button then enter your Google email/phone and password.
Note: Google SSO isn't available in Self Employed.

In some rare cases, the Sign in with Google button may not display. In this case, use your Intuit username and password. If you don’t remember or don’t have this information, select Sign in and then I forgot my user ID or password link. After you reset your info, sign in again and then go back to using the Google button.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does Google SSO work with the mobile?

The feature isn't recommended for mobile users. If you've already created a link to Google, you'll need to de-link the account. (See the Frequently Asked Question section below for steps.)

If you have a password you use to link to Google, use it to sign in to QuickBooks. If desired, de-link your account to permanently remove the Google link from your account.

If you don’t have a password, please create a password. Use this new password for future logins on the mobile app. If desired, de-link your account to permanently remove the Google link from your account.

How can I de-link my Google account from my Intuit Login Credentials?

  1. Sign in using your Intuit credentials.
  2. Select the Intuit Account icon at the top right, then Manage your Intuit Account
  3. On the Intuit Accounts Settings page, select Sign In & Security.
  4. In the Linked Identities section, locate the Signed in With Google identity.
  5. Select Remove next to the Google Identity you need to de-link.
  6. Select Remove again to confirm, then Exit.

QuickBooks Live Bookkeeping monthly pricing tiers:Live Bookkeeping is available to QuickBooks Online subscribers and is sold separately. The first month of service for cleanup and onboarding is $500. After the first month, the ongoing Live Bookkeeping service is available in 3 different pricing tiers, depending on your company’s average monthly expenses over a period of 3 consecutive months. After the first month, you’ll be charged monthly at the then-current monthly fee based on your average monthly expenses over the previous 3 months, unless you cancel. QuickBook Live monthly bookkeeping services: During the first month, a Live Bookkeeper provides cleanup services that start from the date of your last business tax return through the end of the calendar month of first sign-up to Live Bookkeeping. The services provided during the first month are as follows, as applicable: update bookkeeping based on information you provide; connect bank and credit cards; categorize and update transactions up until the last tax-filing date; reconcile bank and credit card accounts with past statements, as provided by you; reconcile remaining balance sheet accounts; and run a summary report of work completed, balance sheet, and profit loss statement of YTD for cleanup period(s).

 

A Live Bookkeeper cannot begin cleaning up your past books until they receive the required supporting documentation, which your bookkeeper will request from you after your first meeting. Once your bookkeeper receives all the necessary documentation, they’ll typically complete your cleanup within 30 days. In some cases, your cleanup may take longer depending on timeliness of documentation and the complexity of your books.

 

During each subsequent month, ongoing Live Bookkeeping services include: an overview of the main features of QBO; setup of customers and vendors; assistance with reports and reporting tools; setup of chart of accounts; assistance with bank connections, expense type classification, categorization, and reconciliation based on information you provide; importing of historical data; and ongoing assistance with bookkeeping practices). Some basic bookkeeping services may not be included and will be determined by your Live Bookkeeper. The Live Bookkeeper will provide help based on the information you provide. QuickBooks Live Bookkeeping Setup: QuickBooks Live Bookkeeping Setup is a one-time virtual session with a Live Bookkeeper.
