Bulk Trash Pick Up

Modified trash pickup through May - items inside cart only

from City of Pflugerville · 1 May 20

Please remember that Waste Connections, the City’s solid waste service provider, is temporarily limiting residential trash and recycling collection to only items within carts through the end of May. These changes in service are the result of Waste Connections moving into Phase III operations in response to COVID-19.

Also, with so many people at home, please make sure your vehicle is not blocking your trash cart or your neighbor's cart as this could prevent them from being serviced.

There is no bulk pickup service curbside. If customers have questions about their trash or recycling service, please contact the City of Pflugerville at 512-990-6100 or [email protected]

The City resumes chipping services for brush and limbs starting May 4. The City is operating on a modified monthly pickup schedule. Visit for details on resumed services and to find the week the truck will be in your neighborhood. Residents may also take limbs and brush to the Recycle Center, 15500 Sun Light Near Way, which is open Fridays, Saturdays and Mondays from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.

Pflugerville’s free chipping service changes to two zones effective October 1
The city of Pflugerville provides a complimentary curbside brush/limb chipping program to Pflugerville residents based on zones. The program will change to two pick-up zones effective October 1.
"The chipping service is a free service to residents and is very popular," Public Works Director James Wills said. "We have evaluated the program and based on customer feedback and staff recommendations, we will implement a two-zone schedule starting October 1 so residents know when we can pick up their tree limbs. Our goal is for an effective, convenient and timely scheduled pickup and program operation."
The Zone Map found at shows the city as Zone 1 and Zone 2 with Zone 1 receiving service the first full two weeks of a month and Zone 2 on the third and fourth week of the month. The pickup service is free and the chips are recycled into mulch which is used in city parks and facilities and offered first come, first served to residents at the Recycling Center. Residents are encouraged to time their chipping needs with their residential zone to avoid piles of material remaining in front yards for extended periods of time.
Citizens must call 512-252-CHIP (2447) or email [email protected] with your name, address and phone number to be placed on the pickup schedule. You can call the chipping line anytime to be placed on the schedule.
