    • Clean out potentially dangerous materials from your home, garage, basement or barn.



    • Household hazardous wastes

    • Pharmaceutical Wastes, Sharps & Syringes

    • Agricultural pesticide

    • Conditionally exempt small quantity generator (CESQG) waste



    • Hazardous waste is any product that is toxic in nature and should NOT be disposed of as everyday trash.

    • It requires special handling, processing, and disposal.

    • Some of these materials may be recycled but are not part of the routine recycling program.



    • Mark your calendars for October 2021

    • Be sure to register by October 1st!

Welcome to Delaware Opportunities

Delaware is open for service.  You are encouraged to call first but you don't have to.  You can stop by as normal if you are in need of services.  The Food Bank is open and starting May 3rd we will be back open for clothing and household items (which includes accepting donations).

Our distributions have also started back up.  Information is posted on Facebook.  Dairy distributions will be taking place April 14, May 12, June 9, and July 14.  Food distributions will take place April 30, May 28, June 25, July 30, August 27, September 24, and October 29.  Distributions will continue to be held in drive-thru style and pre-registration is required.  Each event will host 400 families.  Registration will go live on Eventbrite 8 am one week prior to the event (i.e. April 30th's will go live April 23rd).  The event is searchable on Eventbrite once it goes live.  We will also post a link on our Facebook page that morning.  Additionally, you can call if you have trouble, once registration is live, and we can assist you in getting signed up.  Please note that these events typically fill up within hours.  If you are unable to get signed up and are in need of food please contact Kelly Short in our Food Bank.  We have food and can assist you!
