Bdo boss

World bosses spawn at set times during the week and drop rare items. Whilst world bosses are spawned, open world PVP is disabled. Boss HP is shared across all channels, so when a world boss dies on one channel, they are dead on all channels.

Dying to World bosses can break your crystals and may cause you to lose EXP. This is why it is recommended to use another character (boss alt).

Boss alts can be as low as level 51 to gain rare loot, but will need to be equipped with gear. I recommend using a Witch/Wizard or Ranger as your boss alt.

Besides the world bosses, there are many other daily/weekly quests that involve killing solo scroll bosses. These are acquired from your Black Spirit, a rare drop from monsters, by combining items in your inventory, or by purchasing additional scrolls from the Pearl Store (F3) under the Loyalty Tab.

Kzarka / Nightmarish Kzarka

Kzarka spawns inside the Serendia Temple which is located south of Heidel city. This boss drops legendary, yellow grade weapons, known as the Kzarka weapons. It is considered the BIS weapon.

Kzarka also drops various other rewards and Latent Aura’s. 100 Latent Aura’s can be exchanged for a Kzarka weapon box.

You can gain knowledge of Kzarka by gaining 50 amity with Hakkon, who is the node manager of Serendia Shrine. Gaining knowledge will allow you to see the boss HP bar and gaining S grade knowledge will increase your chances of better loot.

Possible Drops (hover icons for info):

When Kzarka spawns there is a chance his rage will reach its peak and he will become “Nightmarish Kzarka”. Nightmarish Kzarka can drop better loot with players able to get up to IV Kzarka Weapons (possible enhancements: +0, I, II, III, IV) and higher chance of Belongings of an Adventurer or Gold Bars up to 1,000G.

Ancient Kutum

Ancient Kutum spawns in Valencia in a cave. This boss drops legendary, yellow grade sub-weapons called Kutum Weapons. The weapon is the BiS PVE Sub-weapon because it gives additional monster damage. Kutum also drops Latent Aura’s, Black Stones, Crystal’s, Silver and Hunter Seals.

You can gain Kutum’s knowledge by increasing your amity to 400 with Desalam. He is just outside the front of the cave entrance. You can also do a quest in this area to gain knowledge.

Nouver / Bloodstorm Nouver

Nouver spawns in the Valencia Desert. Make sure to bring Star Anise Tea and Purified Water before going into the desert. This boss drops legendary, yellow grade sub-weapons, known as Nouver Weapons. The weapon is BIS for PVP. Nouver also drops Latent Aura’s, Black Stones, Crystal’s, Silver and Hunter Seals.

You can gain knowledge of Nouver by going to Ibellab Oasis and talking to Eugene. You will need to complete 3 quests for him.

Possible Drops (hover icons for info):

When Nouver spawns there is a chance he can be stained by the blood fo the victims that died in the desert. He is then called “Bloodstorm Nouver” and is much more powerful than normal Nouver. Bloodstorm Nouver also has better loot with players able to get up to IV Nouver Sub-weapons (possible enhancements: +0, I, II, III, IV) and higher chance of Belongings of an Adventurer or Gold Bars up to 1,000G.

Karanda / Stormbringer Karanda

Karanda spawns at the Karanda Ridge which is located north-east of Calpheon city and south-west of Velia Town. This boss drops legendary, yellow grade awakening weapons, which require level 56+ to use, as well as completing a quest to unlock the skill tree. The weapon is called the Dandelion weapon and is BIS for all classes. Karanda also drops Latent Aura’s, Black Stones, Crystal’s, Silver and Hunter Seals.

To gain knowledge of Karanda, you can increase your amityto 400 with Clarkster who is the node manager at Karanda Ridge.

When Karanda spawns there is a chance she can become “Stormbringer Karanda” with more powerful attacks but also chance of better loot and also the opportunity to obtain a Heart of Karanda. Heart of Karanda is a weaker version of Garmoth’s Heart but cannot be sold on the central market. Heart of Karanda can be used on awakening weapons to unlock one crystal slot and give a Critical Hit Damage +3% effect.

Mirumok Destroyer Offin

Offin spawns in Kamaslyvia which is located south-west of Calpheon. This boss drops legendary, yellow grade weapons, known as Offin Tet weapons, which is considered better than Kzarka once you get to PEN because of it’s additional AP. Offin also drops Offin Tett’s Light Fragments (Latent Aura’s equivalent), Black Stones, Crystal’s, Silver, Valtarra’s Eclipsed Belt and the Lemoria set pieces.

To gain knowledge of Offin you need to increase your amity to 300 with Anbelif at the Old Wisdom Tree located east of Grana.

Garmoth the Red Dragon

Garmoth spawns in Drieghan which is located south of Heidel. Unlike the other world bosses, Garmoth does not drop legendary weapons or armor. Instead he can drop “Garmoth’s Heart”.

To gain knowledge of Garmoth you need to complete the questAbout the Crimson Dragon Garmoth which can be obtained from Odelphin located in Duvencrune. To complete the quest you will need Garmoth’s Scale x5

Possible Drops (hover icons for info):

The new item “Garmoth’s Heart” can be processed using Processing (L) > Heating to create a “Inverted Heart of Garmoth”. You will also need a “Inverted Energy” which is obtained through a quest in Drieghan. An Inverted Heart of Garmoth is used to reform Nouver/Kutum off-hands and turn them into a Fiery” Nouver/Kutum. It has a 100% success rate and will put additional item effects onto your Nouver/Kutum. These stats are: Max HP +150, Max Stamina +100 and Special Attack Evasion +10%. Other loot includes Garmoth Scales, which are used to craft new crystals. Finally, a new item called “Garmoth’s Horn” can drop which can be exchanged for a “Dragon Egg Fossil” that you can hatch into a pet (Young Crimson Dragon) by pressing RMB. The Young Crimson Dragon will have one of the following special skills: Heatstroke/Hypothermia Resistance, Hostility Detection, Auto-fishing time reduced, Taunt Monsters, or Finds Named Monsters. The dragon pet also has a Max HP +25 talent and acts like a normal pet.

Vell

Vell is an Ocean world boss that spawns north of Lema Island and can only be damaged with ship cannons and matchlocks. Vell drops rare and expensive items, including Vell’s Heart, which is the BIS Alchemy stone.
When you receive your loot it will come as aVell Reward Bundle in your Black Spirit Safe.

Muraka

Muraka spawns west of Calpheon, near Mansha Forest. Muraka drops a Dim Ogre Ring which has a chance of giving you up to a DUO Ogre Ring when you right-click it. Other rewards include Black Stone (Armor) and Black Stone (Weapon). You will also get Hunter’s Seals, which you can exchange.
Finally, Mutant Enhancers can drop from Quint which can be exchanged at Gorgath.

When you receive your loot it will come as aMuraka Reward Bundle in your Black Spirit Safe.

Quint

Quint spawns at Quint Hill southeast of Epheria Port. Rewards include Black Stone (Armor) and Black Stone (Weapon). You will also get Hunter’s Seals, which you can exchange.

Finally, Mutant Enhancers can drop from Quint which can be exchanged at Gorgath.

When you receive your loot it will come as aQuint Reward Bundle in your Black Spirit Safe.

Red Nose

Red Nose drops a yellow grade armor chest piece called “Red Nose’s Armor”, along with various other items, such as liverto bundles and crystal gems. The boss armor piece is not the BIS but it is still worth killing the boss.

Dim Tree Spirit

Dim Tree Spirit also drops a yellow grade armor chest piece called “Dim Tree Spirit’s Armor”, along with various other items, such as liverto bundles and crystal gems. The boss armor piece is the BIS with high defense.

Dastard Bheg

Dastard Bheg drops a yellow grade armor gloves piece called “Bheg’s Gloves”, along with various other items, such as liverto bundles and crystal gems. The boss armor piece is the BIS with high defense and accuracy.

Giant Mudster

Giant Mudster drops various items, such as liverto bundles and crystal gems.
